Meike Wernicke was recently appointed as a 12-Month Lecturer in the Department of Language and Literacy Education. She has been an instructor for French and German at the post-secondary level for the past two decades and currently teaches in the Modern Language Education M.Ed program for French second language teachers, as well as other courses in the department. She will be supervising the fifth FRM cohort program in 2016 and overseeing the transition of the Institut de Français to LLED. Meike’s research has focused on French second language teacher professional development, L2 teacher identity construction and study abroad, and discourse analytic research perspectives.
